ENTRY RULES

You need a C316 student visa index to enter Indonesia which can be obtained at the nearest Indonesian embassy or Consular Office in your country. After you submit all the required documents, the Directorate of International Relations (DIA) will apply for your study permit to DIKTI (Directorate General of Indonesian Higher Education – Jakarta). Once issued, DIA will submit your student visa approval to the immigration office in Jakarta. If it has been approved, DIA will send you an approval letter and you can start applying for a student visa at the nearest Indonesian embassy or consular office in your country (takes 2 – 5 working days). Please do not book flight tickets before you receive visa approval notification from DIA.
