Assessment in this course is based on four elements of assessment, namely Independent Assignments, Group Assignments, Final Projects, and Substantive Contributions. The details for each element are as follows:

Popular articles 750 – 1000 words related to Contemporary Tourism Topics. The theme or topic raised must have Central Thesis good and up-to-date. Articles are published in local mass media in the form of on line nor offline. Article republished in blog Master in Tourism. Article writing must include the author's status as a UPI Tourism Masters student.

Group presentations on current tourism topics. The topic raised must have Central Thesis good and up-to-date.

Essay Paper or Research Paper – 4000 words. The topic raised must have Central Thesis good and up-to-date. After the deadline for submitting the Final Project ends, articles insubmit in accredited national journals or international proceedings. The topic of this final project can be the completion of the draft article on the MK Philosophy of Science in the previous semester
Final Project Assessment
Final Project Assessment is based on the following criteria:
- Introduction:
Assessment is based on the student's ability to explain problem or phenomenon raised, elaborated state-of-the-art, and display significance from paper.
- Literature Review:
Assessment is based on students' ability to integrate and synthesize meaningful ideas through previous references. As for the assessment for literature reviews, consider the following elements:
- Literature review the GOOD contains critics comprehensive literature, integrate various points of view, discuss and evaluate strengths and weaknesses of the literature, as well as raise the subject to be discussed and elaborated later.
- For writing essay papers In this case, students need to read a sufficient amount of literature. Students are expected to read at least 20 literature related to the subject published in the last 5-10 years. Literature published more than 10 years ago, but considered important in discussions within essay need to be used as an additional reference.
- At least 50% of referenced literature is scientific articles in referenced international journals.
- Integration:
Assessment related to content integration is based on students' ability to integrate concepts/theories from previous research with practice. A good article is able to explain connection between theory and practice, able to demonstrate meaningfulness, as well as being able to produce accurate conclusion.
- Plagiarism:
Articles that are indicated to be the result of plagiarism will be investigated in depth. If the student is proven to have committed plagiarism, then the student concerned is declared to have failed to complete the lecture, and must repeat the lecture in the following semester. The relevant subject is offered.
- Substantive Contribution (10%)
Students learn well through intensive discussions related to the topic. Assessment related to substantive contributions is based on the ability of students to take an active role in discussions, develop discussion topics, and be able to synthesize the meaning of the subject in the discussion process.
