The thesis is one of the core components of the Master of Tourism Study program. This program allows students to demonstrate their research and analytical skills and explore topics of interest to them.
Thesis writing is done within the context of a research project. Students need comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of certain topics on certain topics. In addition, students are expected to be able to collect data and carry out in-depth analysis to build arguments. Thesis writing involves critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to consider different points of view on a particular tourism topic. The thesis must have elements of:

The thesis is one of the main requirements for students to graduate in the Master of Tourism Study Program. After completing the thesis, students are expected to have five main abilities namely
1. Demonstrate mastery of knowledge which forms the basis of professional practice in the chosen field;
2. Apply his knowledge to solve problems related to tourism in Indonesia;
3. Identify and analyze relevant literature, data, and other resources;
4. Formulate conclusions, assess validity, and critically evaluate arguments and assumptions;
5. Communicate the results of their work in written and oral formats.
