The learning objective of the Tourism Studies Project course is to provide students with an understanding of how to develop and manage quality tourism study projects. In addition, the learning objectives also aim to provide students with the ability to draft project designs, manage projects according to a predetermined schedule, and compile quality project reports.

The Tourism Studies Project Course is an elective course that can be chosen by students of the Master of Tourism study program at the Indonesian University of Education. Course information can be downloaded at the following link.

After completing the Research Methodology course, students are expected to be able to:

  1. Understand the basic concepts and principles of tourism study projects, including aspects that must be considered in the process of preparing and managing projects.

  2. Understanding how to design a tourism study project, including setting goals, objectives, and activities to be carried out.

  3. Understand how to manage a tourism study project, including determining work schedules, managing budgets, and compiling project reports.

  4. Understand how to develop and manage research capabilities in the tourism study process.

  5. Understand how to manage relationships with related parties in tourism research projects.

  6. Understand how to prepare quality project reports, including preparing progress reports and project final reports.

  7. Understand the role of ethics and professionalism in conducting tourism research projects.

  8. Understand how to develop communication and presentation skills in the process of preparing project reports.
