The learning objectives of the Tourism and Entrepreneurship course are to provide students with an understanding of how to develop and manage a successful tourism business, including understanding entrepreneurial principles, recognizing business opportunities, and managing risks. In addition, learning objectives also include understanding how to develop innovative and attractive tourism products, and how to promote tourism businesses to potential customers.

After completing the Tourism and Entrepreneurship course, students are expected to be able to:

  1. Gain a better understanding of entrepreneurial principles and how to develop a successful tourism business.

  2. Able to recognize tourism business opportunities and manage business risks properly.

  3. Acquire skills in developing innovative and attractive tourism products, as well as promoting the tourism business to potential customers.

  4. Able to understand the factors that influence the success and failure of the tourism business, as well as study examples of the success and failure of these businesses.

  5. Gain knowledge on how to use technology and marketing strategies in developing a tourism business.

  6. Able to use social media, organize events, and collaborate with other parties to promote the tourism business.
